Elisha Bostwick papers, 1776-1914.

Bostwick's reminiscences as a Revolutionary soldier which he wrote on his commission (1776 January 1) as second lieutenant in the 19th regiment of the U.S. Continental Army. Provides a description of Nathan Hale and George Washington. Includes a copy of the reminiscences published in the Saturday Chronicle (1914 December 26) with an introduction by George Dudley Seymour.
